Apple To Unveil Tablet Computer

December 24, 2009

The rumors are running hot and heavy. According to The Financial Times, Wired, Silicon Alley Insider and Boy Genius, Steve Jobs will finally introduce next month an Apple tablet computer. The device is rumored to be like an iPhone on steroids with a 10-inch display. Lending further credibility, developers of some popular iPhone apps have been asked to create by January larger screen versions of those apps. Also, the Financial Times reports that Apple will hold an event on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. For those involved in developing iPhone apps, it is fun to think about these apps on a larger screen and it seems logical that Apple will add this option to its portfolio of products.
