Are New Android Phones Rolling Out Too Quickly?
Weeks after Droid was released, Google unveiled the Nexus One. Only a few weeks later HTC, maker of Google’s Nexus One, unveiled the Desire, a sister phone to the Nexus One. The Desire, which debuted at Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress, uses an optical trackpad instead of a trackball. The Desire has a sense display and a leap function that allows users to view different home screens at the same time by one pinch. The new phone has also a new friend stream feature which updates social networks.
Apple has been a bit more regimented with its iPhone versions, letting a year pass between new versions. Google might want to follow Apple’s lead before it dampens market demand for its Android phones.
