iPhone Creator Leaves Apple For Green Tech

On the same day that Greenpeace released a new report called “Make IT Green: Cloud Computing and its Contribution to Climate Change” Tony Fadell, creator of the iPod and iPhone announced his departure from Apple to the green tech industry. Fadell was the first member iPod’s engineering team in 2001. He later became head of the iPod division and led development of the iPhone. In an interview with the New York Times, Fadell said “my primary focus will be helping the environment by working with consumer green-tech companies.”
