Disney’s Fantasia

April 7, 2010

Fantasia, Disney’s 3rd feature-length film released in 1940, is considered a classic by critics and fans. Unique in many ways, Fantasia has no dialog, except for segment introductions by host Deems Taylor. The film features animation with a classical music score. There are many interpretations of this film – some controversial. Regardless, one has to admire its uniqueness, even today, with CGI and digital tools.
