Ben & Jerry’s Moo Vision

Following in the footsteps of GE and Quiznos, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream has become the latest large brand to create an augmented reality iPhone app. As part of an update to the existing app “Scoop of Happiness” Moo Vision helps promote four flavors.

Augmented reality markers on carton lids launch 3D images when the iPhone camera sees the markers. Consumers can view different virtual dioramas that display scenes from small family farms where ingredients for Ben & Jerry’s products originate.
